Fall in Berlin
It has been forever. I know. And honestly: I don’t really care. I share when I like to and when there is stuff to share.
So far I am very busy (as usual). I started my Masters programme and am working a few days every week so yeah – I am happy when I even get to see my bed once in a while (let alone friends, family).
But there was this one weekend in Oktober when my sister and my dad came to Berlin. Of course my dad had his own plans which later on turned out to be a bit disappointing but that is a different story. After a full-familiy-breakfast at our place my sister and me went for what was planned as a little bit of fresh air. It turned out to be a full grown walk in the most beautiful colors Berlin has to offer this time of the year. Including a lot of Oh’s and Ah’s and of course a leaf-fight.
The pictures I am uploading here are NOT edited. I am saying that not to show that I don’t invest time in my blog (that shouldn’t be any news) but mostly to give you an impression of how beautiful this walk really was.
It is quite obvious that most of the pictures are taken by my sister but I did manage to sneek a few of her in as well.
Most beautiful sister in the world. Don’t you agree?
For no real reason the sun and the colors and the massive amount of leaves made the child inside of us come out again…
Then again – who would not want to take a bath in the pool of yellow and orange and red and brown? (If you are a party pooper don’t answer now. Just keep that hand down… really! Leave it. You don’t know what joy you’re missing out on.)
We were running, jumping, rolling around and giggling for at least three hours. And then decided to collect the biggest leaves we could find to dry them at home for some autumn-ish decorations.
I guess I don’t have to let you in on the destiny of those leaves. Yes, they ended up on the street right in front of our house after I carried them around with me through a countless number of shops we went to after in the mall around our house… Well – the intention is what counts, no?
